Jozi McKiernan submitted this picture of her grandmother, Yvonne Krulc, who was a technologist at the Santa Monica hospital for many years. She died when Jozi was seven years old, but Jozi still remembers
She once got me a lab t-shirt with a microscope on it. She was very fond of Jeopardy and made my first Halloween costume.
Jozi is now an undergraduate at Harvey Mudd College. She hasn’t decided on a major, but is thinking about Biology or Computer Science. Jozi’s father (Yvonne’s son) received a BA in Chemistry from UCLA and currently teaches high school physics, chemistry and robotics.
